Day Three: Board Meeting

For a long time, I've felt completely wrapped up in my own universe of work and TTC. I've been wanting to do something to give back to the community, so I recently volunteered for a local charity. They've asked me to consider being on their board of directors. Tonight, I went to a board meeting. I'm really excited about being involved with the group, but not as sure about being on the board. It was a little dull, to be honest, but that was partially because I didn't know what they were talking about sometimes. But it's a really great, positive group of people, and they are doing really good work. That is SO what I need in my life right now.
